Bobbi Misiti is known for her enthusiasm and love of Yoga.
I combine this enthusiasm with education of the body and how it moves. My journey to the yoga path began in 1990 as a self employed personal trainer and fitness instructor. Many years of athletics and exercise lead me to seek yoga as a balance between fitness for the body and inner well being. Finding this balance in my own life and feeling the benefit to body, heart, and mind I have dedicated my life to practicing and teaching yoga. I have been a student of Yoga since 1992 and have taught Yoga since 1997.
I practice and teach in the Ashtanga Method as my teacher, Nancy Gilgoff, taught me. I have studied extensively with Nancy since 2003, taking frequent trips to Maui to spend time connecting with her, and to focus on my own practice and teaching skills. I began in the Ashtanga method with Beryl Bender Birch in 1998 and with Manju Jois in 1999.
In April of 2001 I opened BeFit Body & Mind YOGA, taking a giant leap on my own to teach Ashtanga Yoga from my heart − in a way that is beneficial to body, heart, and mind.
